The apartment was very comfortable and spacious with a well equipped open-plan kitchen. We just had to ring the bell at the gate when we arrived and Francoise came down immediately to give us the keys and show us around. There was even a table outside our patio doors where we could eat outdoors. Nice touches were bottled water in the fridge, some madeleines and tisanes and coffee. This was a one night stop driving between the Costa Blanca and UK, very easy to locate and close to the motorway, but in a really peaceful location with a small village to explore. It will definitely be our first choice next time we make the trip.

Everything was fantastic, huge apartment and very well thought out...easy to cook and wash clothes, even an oven and full kitchen..we were very impressed with the attention to detail and it is a very peaceful village. We would make a detour on a trip to stay here again...

Our hostess was super friendly and made us feel very comfortable in her home. She even left us out a bottle of wine to drink next to the fire when we returned from dinner. Breakfast was very generous.

The easy check-in, the room, and the rural France vibe of the house. I liked that the owners kept the wooden furniture. Bathroom, although shared, was big and clean. The house is right in the middle of the village so you can't miss it.

Impeccable: the one word which describes the Hôtel Saint-Alban. The care used to restore the grand building with its century old Cuban massive hardwood staircase and fine rooms is evident in every detail of the building. Owner Phillipe was friendly and gracious. The grounds are super nice. The hotel is within a short walking distance to restaurants. The service was excellent and the staff very approachable and helpful.     Valros is very quiet and pretty, an archetypal French...

    Valros is very quiet and pretty, an archetypal French village, but there is very little in terms of shops. We saw signs to a traiteur but failed to find it even though we had quite a walk round the village. It didn't matter, because we already had food for the stay, but I don't think you could depend on getting provisions. It made for a really pleasant evening walk and was very quiet as a place to stay.

    We loved this place! So beautiful! I loved the structure, windows, balcony. Free parking in the hotel property, dog friendly, very clean and warm. And it was so nice to be able to eat a proper dinner in a lovely restaurant after so many hours driving! Food highly recommended. Very nice attention. It has a modern complete kitchen in the room (but we didn't use it)

    Very little to like about this place, unless you speak french and are planning to do nothing, see nothing. Only plan is to eat dinner in the evening at the hotell. Assmuning that you know French language - because they service dont speak anything else than french and there isn't a meny on any other language.
