Debbie and Rob were fantastic hosts. Rooms were very comfortable. Children loved feeding the animals in the morning. great location to set base to visit Normandy. strongly recommend La Crepelliere for a family break in a peaceful rural setting.

We stayed overnight after getting the ferry to Cherbourg. Next day we travelled to Ill de Re. It was a good stop over point and comfortable for one evening :)

Everything one could need for an overnight stop (or a few days break). Very pleasant proprietor who showed us the facilities. Very quiet location. The well-equipped kitchen allowed us to cook a substantial meal which we ate outside in very pleasant surroundings.

Everything was perfect! Valérie and Jacky (both speaking English very well) are great hosts and Valérie is an excellent chef. The pool is amazing and as big as it looks at the photos (no fake ;) ) and the garden (with ping pong tables) is wonderful. There are many places to visit nearby (Abbey Hambye, Granville) and we were very happy that we could stay 2 nights including dinner!

Very nice hosts with a lot of sightseeing tips, english and french speaking. The house is beautiful and there is a cute host dog entertaining you aswell. The breakfast was of good quality.

What a delightful host! He was kind & very friendly. The accommodation was superb with everything we needed. It was immaculate & tastefully decorated with a creative flair. The breakfast was substantial & of good quality. We have no hesitation in recommending La Postellerie.

    Villedieu les Poeles is a beautiful small town. Well worth a couple of days stay. A very laid back and relaxing place. Great cider, with a very picturesque riverside garden area and a beautiful coffee/tea room nearby.

    A small but lovely town famous for its copper ware.

    A small but lovely town famous for its copper ware. We bought our set of pots here many years ago and stayed with our young children. The Hotel-restaurant must be the best place here; well patronised all day long; most accommodating, very busy, very good atmosphere. We would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in this area and hope to return ourselves.

    Villedieu is a nice little town, very clean and lovely...

    Villedieu is a nice little town, very clean and lovely flowers planted everywhere, pretty river too. Some excellent restaurants and boulangeries. Leonie's creperie is excellent, we ate there three times. A large Casino supermarket which I found interesting is just outside town. We were visiting family and the whole experience was perfect.

    A beautiful small historic town.

    A beautiful small historic town. A good selection of shops, cafés and restaurants. Great market on Tuesdays. Free parking throughout. Lovely safe walks. Excellent base for exploring the region and coast.
