I loved the vibe in this hotel. Very characteristic but also modern comforts. Lots of activity in the bars and restaurants. Very lively. Beautiful spacious room. Friendly people. I loved the restaurant. We had the best meal of our trip to Wales here. Breakfast was outstanding. Great table service, drink top ups. Loved the hospitality. The town is lovely as well. Parking lot behind the hotel.

The purpose of our visit was to see a show at the Borough Theatre. Hence we only stayed one night. We live in Bristol so Abergavenny is not far. However we decided to stay over and have a meal rather than driving back after the show. The Theatre was good and we would visit again. We had dinner at the Anatolian restaurant which was excellent. I know Turkish food and it was good. We would consider visiting again and staying over to do some walking or seeing the sites.

Skirrid apartment is absolutely lovely. Extremely clean and comfortable - it has all the comforts of home - and that suited me perfectly. It's also very well situated, mere minutes away from the town centre - and very safe - for someone travelling alone. The host is very attentive and responds quickly. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Abergavenny - and Skirrid apartment was the icing on the cake. Cleaning staff - who I met - were also very pleasant and helpful. Thank you!

The house was ideal for a family reunion - plenty of room for us to spread out - large kitchen and living rooms. Lovely bedrooms and comfortable beds. The garden was lovely, the only snag was the evening and overnight rain! The house was within easy reach of Abergavenny town centre, Crickhowell and the Sugar Loaf mountain. There were plenty of places to eat in both towns - snack lunches or evening meals.

Beautifully decorated and furnished house, lovely and clean and perfect for a family of four. Instructions for check in and out were very clear. Hosts were very kind and left snacks for us - the Welsh cakes were great! Parking was very simple of the driveway at the front of the house. And as a bonus the views of the area surrounding Abergavenny were stunning. An amazing place all round!
