Altrincham is a little market town, with nice shops and plenty coffee houses and bars. It's very pleasant in the summer. Lots of places to eat outside, plus there is an indoor market hall for eating. Great for children. There is great transport links to get to wherever you wish. Airport, Manchester City centre ect! Helpful, friendly staff and an okay buffet breakfast but the room was basic and very noisy from traffic. If you live in a quiet place remember to ask for a room away from the road.
