It is such an interesting town and quite hilly, i walked in and visited the cathedral and the castle both were amazing. The castle was huge but was expensive to visit but it does not disappoint. Arundel is beautiful with plenty of cafes, tea rooms, pubs,...
Arundel is beautiful with plenty of cafes, tea rooms, pubs, and restaurants. The art trail happened to be on whilst we were there, and although not our thing, it appeared to be very good. There was an open-air tribute act to ABBA too at night which appeared to be very well organised with a really fantastic atmosphere. Arundel castle is probably the best property I have visited, perhaps along with Osborne House on the Isle of Wight. Although the ticket entrance is pricey it was well worth it. A lot of history, beautiful rooms and private chapel. Walled garden is well kept. The cathedral is also worth a visit, very Impressive to look at. Location great.

Our room was nice and quiet and we had a lovely night's sleep. Our breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed having drinks on the terrace in the sunshine. Ample parking which is great and lovely to look out the window of our room to see a field with horses. Great base to visit Arundel Castle (approx 5 mins drive away but you can walk it from the hotel with directions given my staff which avoids the busy man road!). Its a nice hotel with the usual facilities of a travel inn type hotel, 24 hour check in is always useful when arriving late. Room was comfortable and spacious. It was quite close to Arundel with only a short drive to the town from the hotel.
