A few days away for our wedding anniversary. The staff were so friendly and made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. A beautiful "Swan" towel structure , rose petals, chocolates and a card were in our room when we got there. For breakfast there was plenty of choice each morning and the dinner menu was great. The meals we had were lovely and we're made even more special with a surprise dessert from the Hotel for our anniversary. The Hotel is undergoing quite a lot of upgrading at the moment so the leisure facilities weren't available. There is an on site golf course which was open. Really pleased to have found this gem of a Hotel and can't wait to return to see the changes. We wish Richard, the new General Manager and his team all the best for the upgrade. Debbie and Mark

An idyllic location with a sense of isolation. The cabin is spacious and fully equipped including an outside table, chairs and sunloungers. (Little touches like milk and water in the fridge were really appreciated) The hot tub was as described and easy to use. We really felt like we were in our own little space in the countryside.

The hostess prepared and presented the flat to perfection. She thought of everything and it was probably the best night's sleep I had in a long time bed was so comfortable. The flat was small and compact but delightful, spotless clean and well-furnished. In a great location and great value for money. Parking was available nearby in two locations and very reasonably priced. Highly recommended I guarantee this offer is hard to beat if you want to be situated in the heart of a beautiful place Arundel. The hostess was thoughtful and caring, and readily helpful, a pleasure to communicate with. I would not hesitate in booking to stay here again. Perfect for two people.

Accommodation was absolutely perfect, everything was spotlessly clean & clearly a lot of thought had gone into the lovely decor. Nothing was too much trouble for Mike & Jackie, they were both so friendly and gorgeous hosts welcoming us into their stunning home. We stayed for one night as visiting friends nearby. The room had everything you could possibly need and breakfast was more than ample, fresh and tasty. We have stayed in a number of b & b’s over the years and can honestly say Mike & Jackie of 8 Hazel Close, Walberton are by far the best of them all. We highly recommend anybody looking for a perfect bed & breakfast in the Arundel area to hurry and book this lovely place, you definitely wont be disappointed.

    Arundel is beautiful with plenty of cafes, tea rooms, pubs, and restaurants. The art trail happened to be on whilst we were there, and although not our thing, it appeared to be very good. There was an open-air tribute act to ABBA too at night which appeared to be very well organised with a really fantastic atmosphere. The castle is the jewel in the crown and worth every penny to visit.

    Arundel castle is probably the best property I have visited, perhaps along with Osborne House on the Isle of Wight. Although the ticket entrance is pricey it was well worth it. A lot of history, beautiful rooms and private chapel. Walled garden is well kept. The cathedral is also worth a visit, very Impressive to look at. Arundel itself us very quaint with great views over the downs.

    Well worth a visit, beautiful architecture , and views on the river. Some steep roads if disabled but still worth going would have loved to visit the castle but was quite expensive for this day but looked worth the money.

    Location great.

    Location great. Relaxed atmosphere friendly staff - clean. - Difficulty getting into Bath for a shower. Maybe replace with shower unit. Perhaps add a little colour to bedrooms. We will be back next Summer.

    Lovely, pretty, small town with cosy pubs and surrounded by beautiful, walkable countryside. The castle is WELL worth a visit - we bought tickets to access all the available areas and were not disappointed - it was spectacular and all the gardens were beautiful (we visited in July).

    All the staff at The White Swan were so lovely and welcoming. Our room was nice and quiet and we had a lovely night's sleep. Our breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed having drinks on the terrace in the sunshine. Ample parking which is great and lovely to look out the window of our room to see a field with horses. Great base to visit Arundel Castle (approx 5 mins drive away but you can walk it from the hotel with directions given my staff which avoids the busy man road!). Will definitely be staying again!

    Clean, comfortable, nicely located, easy to get to and park... Hard to think of anything negative at all. In 2021 we found the usual low-cost hotels fully booked for the Arundel Triathlon weekend, but this apartment fitted our needs on paper despite being more expensive. Suffice to say that for 2024, we didn't even look elsewhere. And yes, it was every bit as good as we remembered.

    A superb pub-hotel, with more style and panache than most pubs, and better service than most hotels of any size, this really is a gem. Ideally situated in Arundel's historic heart, you really can't get better than this!
