Debbie is an excellent hostess - her breakfast spread is above par in presentation, taste and portions. She has a bubbly character and is generally very concerned with each guest's comfort during the stay and appetite at the breakfast table. The rooms were spacious and well equipped with snacks and toiletries. I was visiting Ashford because I have family there.
I was visiting Ashford because I have family there. It would not be my first choice for a vacation. There is nothing wrong with Ashford, but it lacks the charm and the attractions of many other towns. It does have good train and bus service, so in that way it is a convenient base to visit other places from. It's most notable feature is a large, attractive outlet mall that is popular with folks living in the region. It mosly has designer fashions, but also other shops such as kitchen wares, or toys, for example. There is also a food court and some restaurants.Guest review byCarolCanada - 10.0
