The whole experience, could not fault any aspect of our stay. The food was superb, friendly staff, comfortable rooms which were spotless, in a great location just over the road from the station. Despite this never heard a sound. We will be returning...excellent!

We loved our stay here. The beautiful flowers in the garden, the views of the hills, the cows in the field next door...the setting was pure tranquility. Perfectly located for great walks and pub dinners in pictoresque villages. Very comfortable, spotlessly clean, good shower and wifi connection and private parking. Andrew and Linda have a beautiful home and were great hosts. We really enjoyed our breakfasts in the conservatory every morning.

The guests were lovely and welcoming. The room was an absolute charm, the bed super comfortable, the shower felt like an waterfall, the location perfect for Settle and very close to a great pub. The breakfast was divine, with three different options including a delicious kippers. Toiletries were high quality. Extra touches include complimentary paper, a postcard, and coffee/tea.

    Rural area. Lovely views. Settle is a short drive away which is handy for pubs, shopping and fuel top up. Well placed for Lancaster and similar. Nice pub, restaurant and cream tea on door step. Post office in the village but we didn't use it. Great for all sort of walks and peace and quiet.

    Super traditional English pub with a great Vibe, food and Ales. Staff were exceptional. Rooms good with nice en-suites . Good size flat TV and small fridge that was really useful. Came stocked with milk for coffee, bottled water , chocolate and fruit. Massively enjoyed our stay. Would highly recommend

    Superb location in a pretty village in the heart of the Dales. Great walking from the village, and stunning views. Food at The Gamecock is wonderful. Great ecofriendly shop in the village supplying locally crafted goods, refilling service, eco friendly items including baby items, toys

    Lovely part of the Yorkshire Dales. Lots of stunning walks. We were blessed with gorgeous weather as well. We stayed at The Game Cock Inn which was lovely. The staff were really helpful and friendly. The food was really nice and the breakfast was superb. The yummy bakery attached to the pub was an added bonus with Delicious homemade tarts and a selection of different breads We also wandered down the road to The Traddock ( A Yorkshire Dales Hotel and Restaurant) which was beautiful, with stunning gardens and friendly staff too.

    Excellent location, quiet and private in the lovely village of Austwick. The village had well stocked shop for food supplies etc and the food in the local pub was excellent and within easy walking distance. The Coach House was very well appointed with a very good kitchen and two bedrooms, both ensuite, very important when holidaying with friends. Plenty of parking on site for two or more cars.

    Charming and lovely pub/hotel in the lovely little village of Austwick. Rooms beautifullly decorated with a top end boutique style. Staff are caring friendly and attentive and the whole stay was out of this world. Food lovely too. Highly recommended.
