The love and effort from Katie and her family is obvious and much appreciated. Very modern, comfortable and spacious. Even had a ninja in the kitchen. The welcome hamper was a lovely touch! Jacuzzi and shower was amazing! Katie also offers Many different types of health and beauty treatments in her studio at very reasonable prices! Despite being in a village (5mins from Avebury!), we were lucky to have a good pub opposite and a Very good italian restaurant just a few minutes walk away. Highly recommend. Enjoy x

Lots to see, site was wonderful, impressive stones, friendly locals, nice shops for souvenirs. Within easy walking distance of Silbury hill and West Kennet Long barrow. If you like ancient history this is feast. I think that it is better than Stonehenge.

An ancient stone circle, a museum and manor house in the heart of the Avebury World Heritage Site, the world's largest prehistoric stone circle which partially encompasses a pretty village with many other historical attractions and wonderful walks/hikes arounfd the area. Whats not to like!!!!

It is a quiet picturesque spot. Extremely interesting history and the Henge is open to all. NOTE; This is an international heritage site and needs to be treated with respect. We highly recommend the Red Lion for dinner.

My favourite places were sitting under the big trees around the henge. Touching all the ancient stones. You can walk all around Avebury. Loved the Crystal shop 'Elements', bought many lovely gifts, mostly for me ! There's also a little church next to Elements where you can go round to the back and you can sit and just chill for a while, which my sister and I took advantage of. There's also an old second-hand Bookshop in an old stable. We ate at the pub 'The Red Lion' which is said to be one of the most haunted pubs !

The stone circles and avenue were amazing.

The stone circles and avenue were amazing. The national trust carpark was necessary. The walk to Silbury Hill and the long barrow and the sanctuary was lovely. There is a community shop and a pub, and the national trust cafe. The house was closed but the gardens open with a sculpture exhibition. There is a small museum.
