What we saw of Bacton, was lovely it has a coffee shop and there is a couple of convenience stores to choose from. It is a lovely clean area and is only a half hour drive to Cromer and 35 minutes to Sheringham which we stopped off at and it was beautiful there. I used to live just up the coast at Happisburgh when I was a lot younger and we always return to the area at least once or twice a year. Bacton beach is perfect, very quiet.
Bacton beach is perfect, very quiet. Don't be put off by the gas works, we couldn't actually see them from our accommodation. It's easy to get to Cromer and Great Yarmouth. The local ice cream is delicious especially lemon curd😊Guest review bysusanUnited Kingdom - 10.0

It was lovely to see a seal pup sunbathing on Bacton Beach without a care in the world on our 1st day! Both neighbours on each side were friendly and very helpful - they were residents (not holidaymakers like us). The kitchen was well equipped with appliances in good order, as was the bathroom. The house is tastefully decorated and well equipped, the beds and sofas were super comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay at the beach house.
