Gravetye Manor is a magical place. The house built in the late 1500’s retains its charm and has all the modern comforts. Breakfast offers many choices of hot and cold foods. You sit by floor to ceiling windows looking out on the spectacular gardens. The bedroom (Pear) was large and had three windows overlooking the gardens. Staff are friendly, kind, competent. Dinner came with 4-5 little extra food treats between courses. A marvellous experience!

Didn't try out any meals, pretty busy to get my work done during the days. Meals are very reasonable prices looking at the offers on the cards. I was too busy and didn't like a full meal early in the morning.

The stay at the hotel was above our expectations, starting with the receptionist who greeted us at night after a long flight. The welcome was so warm, pleasant and helpful that it just made us feel immediately that we had arrived at the right place. Next, the rooms were incredibly clean and comfortable and the beds were very comfortable. Finally, we would like to mention the excellent breakfast - highly recommended.

the stay was fantastic we already knew the hotel but it exceeded our expectations. Uncomplicated check in, we arrived after the reception closed and were still warmly welcomed. Parking right next to the hotel, the staff were extremely friendly. The gym is great, we didn't use the pool but it looked great. The breakfast was great, you could choose between many dishes. We will definitely be back!

    This is an amazing property, and the owners are communicative and fantastic. I am very particular, and this property met all my standards. It is cleverly and beautifully designed, backed by a gorgeous garden and a forest. I would highly recommend staying here. It's absolutely stunning. This isn't somewhere where you can cook a meal; however, you are just 5 minutes from Balcombe, and there are several pubs and eateries in the area. My husband and I highly recommend this property.
