Nothing to do with the location ..but..the bus from Buchanan...

Nothing to do with the location ..but..the bus from Buchanan bus station dropped us off on the outskirts of Balloch on a very busy duel carriageway..which took ages to cross safely..why don't they terminate in Balloch's own bus station...much safer as we had to walk 15 mins to get to our accomodation in rough tarain... I'd hate to think of elderly people having to endure this ... shocked to be honest...nothing to do will The Tillie Inn..maybe something should be changed to prevent this.as it has put me off getting the bus...

Balloch 😀 and loch Lomond is a really nice area with breath taking views of mountain 🏔️ and loch Lomond it's self. The pubs are really good and lively lots holiday makers. Pretty choices of where to eat and what to eat. The only problem is the main street is used as a drag strip Not very safe but people crossing the road Very noisy cars are huge exhaust pipes boy racers flying up and down the main road

Nice place to say and very handy for the lochs.

Nice place to say and very handy for the lochs. Getting there was a bit of a nightmare though as part of the main road we needed to get there on was closed due to resurfacing which made our journey twice as long as had to retrace to do a circle!

Ideal for visiting many visitors attractions.

Ideal for visiting many visitors attractions. We stayed for a wedding and we visited Loch Lomond Shores Outlet Village. We went to Cameron House for a refreshment, then had some lunch at The Marina. Weather was beautiful too which made the visit much more stunning. The views are gorgeous. Will certainly be back and recommend to friends and family. 👌👍

Balloch is gateway to Loch Lomond day cruises.

Balloch is gateway to Loch Lomond day cruises. It has a number of guesthouses, restaurants, retail stores and scenic nature walks. Balloch House in the centre of Balloch offers delicious meals, Sweeney Cruise Company offers informative cruises on the Loch, Balloch Castle grounds are worth a visit but the castle is closed and in disrepair. It's hard to find a good coffee though. The Marina cafe in the grounds of Cameron House is recommended for your coffee fix.

We had a fantastic visit in a beautiful part of the Country.

We had a fantastic visit in a beautiful part of the Country. The bungalow suited us down to the ground as was everything we wanted. The dog enjoyed it with the garden, the area and the dog treats that were left for him.

Absolutely stunning property that sits behind a 1930’s Art Deco (former) hotel. Property has been finished to an extremely high standard and is completely kitted out with everything you would want (if not more) on a home away from home stay. Lot’s of added touches like toiletries, tissues, washing up liquids etc. Master bedroom is massive and has a beautiful en suite. Smaller bedroom equally lovely/cosy. What a fabulous find on booking.com. Truly wonderful place to stay and enjoy beautiful Balloch.

The room was small and tired, but clean. The bathroom, however, was a delightful surprise as it included a bath and was quite spacious. This hotel has a great restaurant downstairs with a good range of choices. Both our meals were delicious. It also has a lovely bar area if you wish to party on till later. Breakfast in the morning, again was excellent. However, the standout for us were the friendly and helpful staff. They truly made our stay.

Overall we had a lovely stay at Lomond Park hotel, Room was clean and had good amenities and shared bathroom was cleaned often. Perfect location, is only a short walk away from the Loch and Balloch train station. There are a few lovely restaurants near by and eating downstairs was great too. Breakfast included was a big plus, wasn't a full big breakfast but was a continental buffet which was perfect for us.

Convenient location in Balloch, rooms were clean and well equipped. As this was a brief overnight stop we didn’t spend a lot of time in the hotel but we did eat in the restaurant which was good. Service was attentive despite it being a very busy night.
