We wanted a quiet break with good amenities which we found in plenty. We walked along the beach before breakfast each morning and even saw a small pod of Dolphins - superb. With regard to eating, avoid the Marine Hotel! The Diamond Restaurant and Fish and Chips by the Harbour were excellent

We visited out of season so it was quiet, not a great selection of eateries in the evenings, although the pubs that were serving had great food. Local Spar didn't sell any alcoholic drinks so you need to go further afield for this. Nice location for touring the rest of the area as well, easy access to the Giants Causeway and other well known places. Everywhere we went the staff / hosts / owners were very friendly.

Clifftop walk experience at Giants Causeway was excellent. Book ferry over to Rathlin island - remote island but nice for a windy walk! Scenic train ride from Coleraine to Derry - walk around walled city and visit peace bridge. Nice half day or day trip Causeway coastal drive is very pretty

Ballycastle has a lovely beach with a super play area for young children. It’s lovely to walk around the harbour and watch the boats come and go and enjoy the local fish and chips. It’s location is perfectly positioned for exploring the surrounding picturesque coastline.

This quaint cottage is beautifully presented just outside Ballycastle centre. The views from the private gardens overlook Rathlin Island and are stunning. The cottage was very well equipped with everything you needed and packed with information to make your stay comfortable. The hosts were super helpful and kept in touch regularly especially at check in/check out. Will definitely return on our next visit to Ireland 100%

The views were spectacular from both sides of the house. The house was clean and Patricia was very helpful. We were at the house for four days with Elderly parents and a baby. The location was great for accessing Ballycastle, Giant's Causeway and Antrim.
