We stayed in the gilmore suite for 2 nights. The view was stunning, the room was stunning and everything was overall stunning. We had a meal in the hotel as well and the meal was incredible. Special mentions to Petal, a beautifully curated lifestyle store with nature books, wooden toys and homeopathic remedies; and The Cherry Tree cafe is easily recommended. I spent time in Banff, Macduff and Whitehills (nearest to the B and B) and found all three fascinating with a huge choice of places to eat. I can recommend Rock Fish chip shop, restaurant and takeaway in Whitehills and the Boyndie Visitor Centre for daytime meals, snacks and an all round great experience as they have gardens, a lovely shop and the food is excellent. Anywhere you go in this area, Cullen Skink (fish soup) is a must-try. There are beaches, walks and quaint harbours all around here, but the Boyndie Centre (about a mile inland from Whitehills) is definitely the first place I would take visitors. It's a friendly community enterprise and training facility, but with the quality and clued-up feel of a great place for locals and visitors alike.Guest review byJoan - 10.0
