The cottage was very cozy! It has almost everything we needed (no coffee maker of any kind, although it has coffee in one of the cupboards), we could park very close and the surroundings were very pretty. Big spacious kitchen and living room. Very beautiful bathroom.

    There is very little at Barcaldine apart from a few houses...

    There is very little at Barcaldine apart from a few houses but it is set in a lovely part of Scotland and is ideal as a touring centre or for cycling as it is on the Caledonia Way. Ideally, you need a car to get to pubs, shops and restaurants and explore. It is a few miles from Oban which has all amenities including ferries to Mull and other places.

    This house & garden is beautiful 😍 The decor is to a high standard and has everything you need for your stay. I can’t fault anything, and would definitely return. Added bonus is the hot tub 😍 We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. !!
