Beaulieu is a lovely area and if you like horses and donkeys you will love it. The village i itself is very clean and pretty with lots of lovely places for coffee etc. All the people I met wee extremely friendly and helpful. Beautiful, picture box village in the New Forest.
Beautiful, picture box village in the New Forest. It had lakes, walks some interesting shops including a fabulous farm shop. The biggest attraction was the National Motor museum which besides all the interesting cars had a monorail, vintage bus rides, old abbey, a palace house (old family home), Victorian and kitchen gardens, lovely walks and an excellent cafe/restaurant.Guest review byPaulUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Beaulieu village is a wonderful, characterful little place with very friendly residents. It is perfectly placed for exploring the New Forest and 2 mins drive away from the Palace of Beaulieu . I fell in love with the place. There are some lovely little shops and cafes but I would definitely recommend The Beaulieu Bakery for lunch - delicious food and friendly, cheerful staff.Guest review byStephanieUnited Kingdom - 10.0

The place was spot on for us, walks peaceful setting river view easy to visit the sea & also to see lots of New Forest ponies. A few cafes, plenty of eateries around the area of Beaulieu too yum! The Pig in the Forest near by for excellent food if you want to really treat yourselves. Plenty of pubs for refreshments too in the New Forest. It is a charming area with lots of interesting places to visit to suit varied tastes. The village had shops which sold locally grown produce and seemed environmentally aware also had a friendly atmosphere. It was actually East Boldre we stayed but it was really in Beaulieu. It is well placed to reach anywhere. Many places of interest on the doorstep. We went 20th June and there were loads of foals and young donkeys who were so cute. I love the fact that animals have the right of way - and humans have to wait for them to move. We visited Brockenhurst, Lyndhurst, Ringwood, Beaulieu car museum and Bucklers Hard and they were all worth a visit. Many picturesque villages in the New Forest.Guest review bysallyUnited Kingdom

Really lovely hosts Bev and Ed were very welcoming but also super quiet and discrete. The location is beautiful, in the centre of Beaulieu, cafes and shops in the highstreet and nice pub The Monty just a couple of minutes walk. We were greated by donkeys on arrival and saw loads of ponies, foals and wildlife all very nearby. Highly reccommended and excellent value.
