Beaumaris is a beautiful place . The castle and the gaol are certainly worth a visit.we did think fish and chips were expensive. The car parking was £7.50 which was okay if you were staying all day but expensive just for a couple of hours. The only thing that left a slight sour taste was on arrival we were shown to a a room with a double bed. We had booked 2 single beds through booking.com. The hotel staff blamed booking.com for not passing on the message. The staff did then proceed to change our room but we had to wait for it to be made up.
