We loved our stay at Mowbray Grange. It was like home from home, with everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Matty made us aware of how to access the accommodation and was available if we had any issues and left lights on ready for us arriving. The accommodation was warm and cosy. Plenty parking available outside the accommodation, but off the main road. The accommodation is set just off the main road, but you heard no road noise during the night. We would definitely stay again if we needed to stay in Bedale.

Picturesque Yorkshire Village with The Countyman's Inn as the focal point of village life. The pub looks from the inside like you would expect an old English pub to be , with a few modern vibes ( german beer).The food is good old yorkshire grub , but more modern food is available too. And it's all yummy , especially the breakfast.The rooms are quirky but clean and have everything you need. We really enjoyed our stay here , and the service is superb.

    We stayed just outside of Beldale, our accommodation (The Woodman Inn) was in Burneston. A lovely quiet village about 5 miles from Beldale. Beldale town centre was a lively place, with plenty of shops but parking could be difficult.

    Lovely Typical Dales Market Town , Can buy all what’s required lots of various shops and plenty places to eat plenty choice . But I did live around this area many years ago with extended family short term so maybe abut Biased . But plenty to see and do .

    Area is superb. Very Yorkshire! Top views everywhere. No litter, grafiti and clean. great 'Local' shops and choice to eat and drink. great friendy folk. Other towns are easy to drive to so a great location if you want to visit other locals. Very few pot holes ! We has 4 days of Sunshine! No rain.

    We didnt spend long in Bedale because we went on a Sunday on our way home, but found a lovely cafe for coffee and cake. It was an interesting place would go back to spend longer when we not in a rush

    I did not stay in Bedale as I booked but when I looked for hotel it was several miles from Bedale so as I did not like the room I visited Richmond instead. A lovely market town where I bought fish and chips and ate them in the market place in the sun. Would recommend Richmond

    Nice little main street.

    Nice little main street. Couple of shops, and able to get essentials. Quite a few pubs and lovely walk along the river for us, the kids & the dog. The only thing we missed was a pub with a garden outside for the kids to run around in & a swing slide. We couldn't find one in Bedale.

    We were visiting friends who lived locally and The Green Dragon was perfect for us. A beautiful and comfortable room even with our 3 year old cocker spaniel! The bed was huge and super comfortable We loved the beer garden and totally dog friendly 😀 we had a meal in the pub one night and it was a great menu and delicious. We loved how we could use the back entrance to our room so we weren't trailing our wet dog through the bar or muddy shoes. They even provided a huge umbrella if so needed🥰

    Good value for money. The staff are really friendly and pleasant. The hotel itself is really clean and serves good quality food in the bar area. I have stayed quite a few times as it is an ideal location for work and I always try and get in Reubens as my first choice. I have never been disappointed.

    Lovely family-run pub and hotel with friendly staff who were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are clean and have everything you need, and the pub downstairs has plenty of room with pool table, darts and quieter corners to chat in.
