A lovely place with so much history and retaining so much...
A lovely place with so much history and retaining so much of its past. Great location for day trips into the Scottish Borders or Northumberland. Plenty buses ,trains if you want to explore further afield. Lots of good restaurants, pubs and cafes and a lovely beach. Furthermore very friendly and helpful locals. Especially Berwick upon Tweed and Holy Island (Lindisfarne). Choosing this hotel really made our stay and holiday the best it could have been. I’m so glad I chose to stay here. Very comfy beds and an excellent shower/bathroom. Breakfast was substantial and tasty. The bar was also large, light and very pleasant, with open fires. Service was great at all times. Very good location for a visit to lovely Berwick on Tweed.
