    Bewdley is an interesting place and has a lot going on during the summer months. Apart from the organised activities, such as the annual beer festival, there is the riverside, the steam railway and the museum. Plenty of shops and places to walk.

    This was planned for a 2 night visit only for a pre planned activity. Nothing else was looked at or planned. having now visited i will definitely be coming back to the area, and Bewdley will make a great base.

    Beautiful smallish place on the river with varied restaurant and cafes. Beautiful houses and small shops. Excellent place to stay and a base for visiting the surrounding areas. Lovely friendly locals!

    Great location with amazing views.

    Great location with amazing views. Great little get away from a city, but also close enough to go to towns/cities within an hour drive. Great local atmosphere, with amazing wildlife and people. I would say you'd need a car as it's all close by car. The safari was an amazing day out for very cheap

    We only stayed in Bewdley so we were close to the safari park we were visiting. Bewdley itself is lovely, however, there are limited restaurants. When we were there, there was a lot of construction work going on so it was impossible to get a nice seat by the riverside (which is what we went for).

    A beautiful, historic town in Worcestershire, Bewdley sits charmingly on the River Severn, offering a delightful blend of picturesque buildings, a stunning stone bridge, and one of the main stations for the renowned Severn Valley Steam Railway. The town has plenty of dining and drinking options, with a special appeal for real ale enthusiasts. Highlights include The Rat, boasting 12 real ales on tap, the Mughouse Pub on the quay, and Bewdley’s own brewery (though with limited opening hours). Even the local fish and chip shop caters to dietary needs with gluten- and lactose-free options—a nice touch. And if you're after something familiar, Bewdley even has a Wetherspoons!

    It is a comfortable, elegant, well-kept property within easy walking distance of Bewdley town centre. The staff are friendly and helpful. We enjoyed breakfast and the fine breakfast room overlooking the gardens. Parking was conveniently close. The sitting room contained local guides and histories of the area. It is possible to take circular walks in the Wyre forest and along the river Severn. The local town centre is unspoilt.

    The hotel is on a busy road but there was a short (10 mins) walk along the road to a forest area which was beautiful. The hotel was comfortable and we were well looked after for the reunion with colleagues. The restaurant was not 'posh' but the atmosphere was relaxed and the food good.

    Great location, in the heart of Bewdley. Lovely, well thought out space with a really comfy bed. I loved all the extra little touches, like the wooden plaques with the wifi code on. Nice furniture. The communal space downstairs is a lovely added bonus.
