The property was well designed and finished to a very high standard. The attention to detail was really good. The whole experience was great. One area we thought was outstanding was the outside space, a super large gas fuelled BBQ, a fire pit with logs etc provided, a four seater dining set and two lovely relaxers with small table allowed us to enjoy uninterrupted views of the forest and meadows surrounding us.

Frequent traveller visiting places and hotels all over the world & a chef myself, this was a real reminder of excellence in such a gorgeous location. I wanted to eat everything on the menu, which has clearly been put together to take advantage of locally sourced produce. The staff couldn't do enough for us , with a good old-fashioned customer service. The decor and rooms make for a country house feel with a modern twist.... There's been no expense spared on the recent refurbishment. If Iived a little closer, I would be a regular, sadly living in Perth Australia 🇦🇺 it will have to be next year! Good luck to the whole team as you make this beautiful place come into its full glory.

Gem with only 5 rooms, beautifully curated, cool and stylish decor (all Deus ex Machina), very friendly owner and staff, amazing food with some of the best vegan options I have ever tasted, close to Boscombe Beach, close enough to Bournemouth city center. A very high standard hotel, definitely worthy of a 10. The service and approach to guests is very professional, and very warm and welcoming. Variety of breakfasts and dinners, very tasty, in a variety of hotel restaurants The place is located in the heart of the forest, which gives a very special feeling of connection to nature, peace and quiet, a very comfortable and well-organized pool on the hotel grounds, the surrounding gardens are very well-kept and allow for enjoyable walking tours. A very special experience of staying in a castle from the last century that is maintained and managed to perfection, We stayed at the hotel for 9 nights in total

Nice hotel and connected to a convenient outdoor car park. Short ride from Bournemouth airport. We had a spacious room for 3 with an extra roll out bed. Pillows were comfortable. Lobby is connected to Starbucks and a sports restaurant which served good food.
