Bridgend is located about 15 minutes from the ferry terminal in Port Askaig (Islay). The town is centrally located to both the Northern and Southern distillery districts. Make Bridgend your base for Whisky and wildlife tours. A very comfortable hotel, with great food. But, unless you have your own car you must book a guide to take you around the island. The buses (and Bridgend is very well situated for them) are irregular and stop at 5pm, don't run at all on Sundays. So if you're out makes sure you've booked your way back!Guest review byKen - 8.0

Bridgend expertly handles what must regularly be a full house for lodging, dinner, breakfast, and more. The room was large, very well appointed and many good features such as the large bed, occasional furniture, coffee making facilities and luxurious bathroom with very nice toiletries. The breakfast room was nice and staff were friendly and helpful. Look forward to seeing it when completed.
