The area would only be suitable for people with the use of a car to get to other places of interest round about. Druridge Bay lake, dunes and woodland areas were within walking distance. Very small and quiet village.
Very small and quiet village. Almost no traffic, beautiful countryside all around. Only one pub serving food nearby, others are at least a mile away, but there's a very fast bus to the Amble which has lots more places to eat.Guest review byPaulUnited Kingdom

Breakfast was delicious. The house and rooms are beautifully decorated, very clean, and the lighting was better than the hotels we stayed in. Everything was spotlessly clean & everything we needed was there; thick fluffy towels, bath robes, even little chocolates at the bedside.
