There are five pubs here and some serve food most days others weekends only and some just a drinking place We had discovered The Fleece Inn on a previous visit and returned repeatedly throughout our stay the food is excellent as is their service Recommend that you book to avoid being disappointed There is also Golden Mill Chinese takeaway which is excellent too There is a bakery and Spar plus CoOp store for food essentials and a fish and chips shop plus a butchers just out of town All great if you're self catering as we were You can get the 56 bus into Skegness if you don't fancy driving Many of the holiday cottage venues have a lake or pond for fishing and provide rods etc for a fee We visited Anderby Creek, Huttoft, Sutton on Sea Trusthorpe, Ingoldmells, Mablethorpe and Skegness all seaside locations with great beaches and facilitiesGuest review byGaryUnited Kingdom - 6.0

Lovely caravan and site, peaceful location, only ten minutes from Skegness. Caters for fishermen. Not many amenities on site, no restaurant or cafe, only very small shop selling essentials. The village of Burgh le Marsh is a car ride away, about five minutes, there is a Co-op and Spar, and a couple of pubs selling food. There is virtually no wifi, which was OK for my husband and myself, but was a major catastrophe for our son, who wanted to watch netflix on an evening on his phone. I was charged for breakfast but did not get any due to it not been ready at the agreed time and the postage stamp sized TV was a joke. I had to nap in my car due to the unbearable loud music.
