This chalet is beautiful and impeccably kept. Everything was spotless and like new. The decor is elegant and creates a lovely atmosphere without being fussy or requiring much upkeep while staying. The chalet feels very spacious and has everything we needed. There are lovely thoughtful details that made us feel very much at home: comfortable beds, fluffy towels, stack of books and DVDs, and very generous welcome basket, considering we were only there 2 days. The campsite is beautifully laid out and maintained. It feels very luxurious. We didn't use the pool or bar/restaurant due to weather and other plans.

We chose this apartment based on the high ratings (9.9). We also wanted some comfort and space and we were not disappointed. After climbing Crib Goch and Snowdon we had a 25 minute walk to this location from the car park. The apartment already had heating on so that was nice. I highly recommend this location. I will also add that the staff was very good at communicating.

Our stay was fantastic! The location of chalet was perfect, a good base to explore Snowdonia and to visit canaerfon in the evening. The chalet itself was clean, modern and well-equipped, with a cozy living area and comfortable beds. The host was friendly and helpful, and gave lots of helpful information before and during my stay. I would definitely recommend this chalet to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

    Near to Canaerthan, just a short drive which is great for a wander around. We didn't make it into the castle, but it looked fab. Nearby Anglesey, Beddgelert and Conwy all easily accessible by car. We had drinks at the Danish Pancake place - not sure of the name. Lovely, friendly staff.

    Caethrhro is a small village just outside Caenarfon with a small number of streets of terraced houses and very little facilities apart from a Londis supermarket attatched to a petrol station nearby. The Glen Gwna Holiday park that the property is part of is actually much bigger. and consists of many more holiday chalets. The holiday Glen Gwna holiday park itself has an outside pool, clubhouse/bar a launderette facility, general stores, and pizza/fast food restaurant on site. However many of these things are probably only open at busy periods such as school holidays.The shop and clubhouse were open for limited times while we were there.
