United KingdomWe had a wonderful one-night stay at this charming B&B. Nestled in the heart of nature, it was incredibly peaceful and relaxing. Although we left very early, the hosts kindly prepared a delicious continental breakfast for us, which was greatly appreciated. The house features a cozy kitchen area and a lovely living room where you can unwind and soak in the tranquil surroundings.
When we arrived, our room wasn’t ready, but the staff handled it graciously. While waiting, we enjoyed a cup of tea and had a delightful chat with one of the friendly ladies working there, which made us feel right at home.
We were genuinely sad to leave but are already looking forward to our return, for one of the retreats.
Highly recommended for anyone seeking a serene escape.

United StatesKim, the host, was wonderful! The space was cozy and warm with lots of personal touches...she is an animal lover! There was no amenity that she did not provide...even fresh eggs, bread, butter and milk. A lovely secret garden just outside the room was peaceful and beautiful. We had a lovely stay and would recommend Kim's Cottage for a relaxing getaway.

MaltaThe town house was exceptional. Spotless clean. In the centre of Caernarfon...the hosts where very helpful and friendly. They where reachable every time we called them. They also supplied us with extra towels and re filled us with breakfast and needs. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TOWNHOUSE and I can say that I will be back again for sure.

Cocktail hour before dinner with delicious canapés, then the Michelan like 3 course dinner was outstanding.

The area around the castle is quaint and attractive. There’s lots to explore in the castle and the displays are interesting and informative. For eating and drinking you’re spoilt for choice. The town is steeped in history, is a fantastic location, and an ideal base for wider exploration of Snowdonia . My interest was in the little steam trains of Wales, of which there are an abundance within easy reach by car from Caernarfon. I choose the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland railways, but during the summer, there are several others including the Snowdon Mountain Railway, the Llanberis Lake Railway. If you are prepared to venture further afield, to the south is the Talyllyn railway near Barmouth, the Fairbourne Railway, also near Barmouth and a bit further south at Aberystwyth, the Vale of Rheidol Railway, all of which I highly recommend.Guest review byWg_Cdr_Andy_ThomsonUnited Kingdom

A short walk from Caernarfon centre, the castle and other tourist sites, (and the pubs and take-aways.) A view of Snowdonia from the main bedroom. Well furnished, and the beds were extremely comfortable. We were a little uncertain about parking and possible local noise but parked right outside the door everytime, heard nothing from the neighbourhood and only saw one person walk passed the house.
