The Lansdown Strand was a great place to stay.
The Lansdown Strand was a great place to stay. Friendly, cosy and relaxing, in the centre of town. The surrounding shops and structures were situated on a hill yet seemed very accessible. No parking at the hotel and all side roads were double yellow lines or resident parking. The car park was no more than a three minute walk from the hotel, no free parking as part of hotel. If you look around Calne you will find a great and healthy atmosphere with people willing to talk and invite you to experience a part of Wiltshire.It is small and quaint ,with no problems of a big town but enough to see on a visit for a few days.Antient history and walks a museum of the locals and there past and the chance to take in the local atmosphere of those chalk hills .Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0

We choose it as it was reasonable price, have food in pub, and we could have non alcoholic drinks. Very comfy bed. The staff is very friendly and great to chat with.
