Cardigan is set in a beautiful part of Wales.

Cardigan is set in a beautiful part of Wales. There are plenty of beaches and little coastal towns worth visiting, plus it's not too far from towns such as Aberystwyth. The town itself could use a little updating, looking a bit gloomy in parts. It's a shame because there are some really nice shops and restaurants there that offer great food and unique products. Parking on the main street is easy, especially for disabled drivers like myself. There are quite a few blue badge bays, and the town is relatively flat.

It was quiet location, very next to nature in the cottage we stayed in and it is not far from the Cardigan bay and town. Cardigan has a craft festival which shows the gifted crafters selling item on their stalls. Cardigan has some really beautiful coastal views. Worth a visit/holiday.

This is a nice town with plenty of eateries and places to stay and good for a number of local beaches. As a weekend away it is fun although it can be difficult to get too due to the local infrastructure.

Plenty to see and do on the High Street and in the little side streets (more so than when we last visited). An enjoyable mix of local character both indigenous and alternative (nice to still hear quite a lot of Welsh being spoken). One or two good places to eat, such as Yr Hen Printworks. However, after a couple of days it would be advisable to extend one's horizons (Poppit Sands, Tresaith, Aberporth etc).

We enjoyed our stay, the town and beach were very enjoyable and we revisited on the Bank Holiday Monday due to being a very wet and blustery day. We took the grandchildren to the local cinema which they thoroughly enjoyed.

Luxurious accomodation within the walls of Cardigan Castle. Inside the walls is like a mini oasis within the centre of Cardigan Town itself. The Castle's gardens are lovely and there is a beautiful kitchen garden. We tried the michelin rated Yr Hen Printworks restaurant for our evening meal. It is excellent value and just across the road from the Castle. We would stay again at this accomodation when visiting the area.

Everything about the hotel from start to finish. Staff very friendly, facilities clean and tidy, room fabulous and a lovely view across the bay. Beer kept very well and excellent food. Restaurant was busy in the evening but didn't have to wait long for food. Breakfast in the morning was very generous and tasty.
