Very pleasant pine lake resort. Everything spotless. Good restaurant with varied menu. Very relaxing. Really appreciated that there were no dogs on site. It’s a good central point for exploring the area around Morecambe Bay and the Kent Estuary. Used the train to visit Ulveston which worked well for us. The trip was amazing, peaceful and a variety of things to do round the area. The apartment and Marina were immaculate. The property had everything you need for a weeks stay. Even milk tea bags and coffee on arrival. The food at the farm and the pub are well worth a visit. Good food lots of choice and value for money. The surrounding area from the Dales to the Lake District was lovely. The villages were fairly quiet, and built of traditional stone. It was great to see sheep roaming the village. For a pet friendly hotel, it was still clean, no odors, and the staff were amazing. The food was outstanding!! Our room was great too, wished it was a bit bigger, because we had a Fur Baby. But it was still outstanding. The bathroom was updated, and huge. Draw back, no lift to our room. So difficult if you have luggage and have mobility issues.
