Accommodations were perfect - the room is very cozy, the warmer works great during winter. The bed was very comfortable to sleep in, the bathroom had plenty of space, the water was warm and shower easy to use, and they have a towel heater that makes the difference in the morning. The room was very quiet and peaceful. The staff (Ashleigh) was super friendly and made our stay easy. There were multiple breakfast options, and the food quality was really nice.

The place is amazing. It was much more pretty than we expected. We had everything we needed and much more! the host really thought about EVERYTHING. The house is really big, it has a very nice and comfortable bed, brand new kitchen, brand new shower, brand new everything! The host was so nice and she left us nice cookies, tea, coffee, milk, really everything we wanted and needed for our staying! The towels were so soft, the house was so clean, you could see that she thought about really everything. I HIGHLY recommend for this booking, and HIGHLY recoomend for this host. The village is really amazing, the views are must-to-see. the aparment is just 10 minutes of lovely walk from the center of the village, where you can eat really great food, see nice places and gardens, drink coffee, eat Icecream, etc... the food there is also really suprising! everything is made with top-quality and top-shelf ingridients. you can see and feel it when you taste it!

    The place was utter perfection.

    The place was utter perfection. Pat and Rowena's design sensibilities throughout the Old Library were exceptional. And then to be greeted by peacocks in the morning, in this idyllic location..it was the perfect end to a three week trip. The walk into Castle Combe was delightful-I had thought the village would be the highlight, but I have to say my accommodations for the evening rivalled even the lovely town..

    Castle Combe is a stunning village with a lovely stream running through the centre. The ancient houses are all different and the village is set in a deep valley. Without the tourists it is perfect. Try to avoid peak times. Maybe visit in the evening or early morning. Our favourite place to stay, if we can afford it, is the Manor House Hotel. Expensive but absolutely perfect!! Try to have lunch at the Castle Inn, this belongs to the Manor but is more affordable.

    Castle Combe is a quaint little village but there’s only one place to buy things and it’s out of a lady’s house - she has nice things for sale. The village has two places to eat plus one lady puts out goodies for a couple of hours on an honour system type idea but other than that there’s really nothing else open. It’s a really cute little town but I wouldn’t go there for any other thing except to see it and meander thru the streets

    It was a beautiful village with two lovely pubs to get pissed as farts in. Good grub in them pubs too. The village was so clean snd well kept we would have felt comfortable sleeping on the streets there.. was truly beautiful.

    Castle Combe is beautiful and small.

    Castle Combe is beautiful and small. We ended up doing a 3 mile circular walk which was great. The buildings are very pretty but it is such a small village you won't be there for long if that is all you have come to see and if the weather is bad, you will struggle to find many indoor alternatives. Having said that, the coffee at The Stables was good and the pre-ordered picnic was very tasty and as I said, the village itself is very pretty.

    The hotel and the surrounding area are well worth the trip.

    The hotel and the surrounding area are well worth the trip. We stayed in one of the cottages which was renovated to and excellent standard maintaining original features. The gardens are interesting. I declined to be shown to the cottage but would recommend being taken to the one given as the allocated one was not obvious.

    One of the best experiences I’ve lived in my life! Truly magical, well-equipped huts, cosiest room, a wonderful open air kitchen with barbecue and, the best of the experience, the hot tub! We were extremely lucky to have the perfect weather and enjoy watching the starts while having a relaxing bath. Quiet and far from the house, but near Castle Combe main attractions at the same time. Allison was the kindest host, making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We will be coming back for sure! Highly recommended! ♥️

    A delightful four poster bed and a wonderfully wonky floor only added to the charm of the Castle Inn. Breakfast and dinner were both superb and staying right in Castle Combe, what's not to love about that. Wonderful.
