It was incredibly clean. Abbey was very friendly and gave us local suggestions for pubs and restaurants. The beds were very comfortable. There was free parking opposite the house. There was a pub opposite that sold delicious pizzas. Really enjoyed our stay, thanks!

We went to Alton Towers and this is the closest hotel to that other than the resort hotel, that’s why we chose it. Little did we know, we were in for a treat! It’s feels old and the Talbot next door is an amazing topping for the cake.

Margaret and her team were fantastic. The accommodation was clean and very comfortable. 10mins down road from Alton towers. We will definitely stay here again.

    A small, yet quite lovely little place.

    A small, yet quite lovely little place. The thing that makes it is the people. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming, a great place! There isn’t an abundance of shops and if you want a quick and cheap bite to eat there are a few weatherspoon/hungry horse type of places around.

    A cute village feel with some lovely history and quite a few cute shops. Plenty of choices for take away food locally and our host had thoughtfully left these with our personal welcome note, which was a lovely touch.

    We stayed near to Alton Towers, and it was a short drive to...

    We stayed near to Alton Towers, and it was a short drive to the resort. Alton Towers is in the middle of nowhere, and signage sometimes led us part way, and then just stopped. The SatNav lost signal, and Google Maps saved the day. We had a fantastic day - it was our granddaughter's 4th birthday, and her first trip to a theme part. We were lucky with the weather, so couldn't fault anything. The queues for the rides weren't too bad, and as we brought picnics, we didn't need to wait for refreshment.

    Lovely friendly staff and the bonus of having dinner outside in the lodge with live entertainment was a brilliant bonus! It was also an amazing location for us to travel to Alton Towers the next day. Highly recommend this lovely little hotel

    Nice cosy hotel. The rooms were comfy. The best feature are the owners. We had accidentally booked an extra room the refunded the whole money for it. The breakfast was fantastic. They made pancakes.and fresh croissants for us. Lovely people

    Superb spot. Perfect for everything around Cheadle area, easy parking, lovely friendly welcome. Room was spotless. Guided to a perfect evening meal and breakfast locally. Value for money was A1. Would definitely revisit as and when in area.
