Staff were brilliant! It was very clean the room and bed were comfortable and it was very quiet and despite being exceedingly busy the staff had time for everyone and managed to keep the very good breakfast buffet stocked up . Parking very easy and somewhere for the dogs to walk .cost for two dogs was 15 pounds not a rip off like other hotels.

    There was plenty to do in chorley, great market. Excellent restaurants and coffee houses. A wonderful place if you like to know about where you are staying and great just to wander around the town centre.

    Clean, friendly and, felt totally safe when travelling alone. Pet’s welcome and outside facilities good for quick exercise for both dogs and people after journey. Only had breakfast but was excellent value. Access from North needs to be clearly explained on Hotel info and directions. Took far too long to find(40 mins). Use better location finders might help.

    Hinds Head is not in Chorley, but on the edge of Charnock...

    Hinds Head is not in Chorley, but on the edge of Charnock Richard. There are no nearby shops or other facilities. But that is what you expect in a country pub. There were locals both eating and having a quiet drink in the bar. So there was good atmosphere. The roads are not too busy for walking and we enjoyed that but do not expect to be entertained in the area. It was wintry when we were there so we enjoyed sitting beside the cosy coal fire. The beer garden will be lovely during the summer.

    Every detail to atention best I have stayed in & have stayed in quite a few over the years. Great spot close to motorways & ASDA . If you are touring York dales, Rivington moors ,Fleetwood for fresh fish & chips & Free port ( great bargins low prices good quality cloths & household good) Then book 5-6 days you wont be disapointed. As for the plonker who did not like staying here what planet where you from ????. a great time can be spent in this region without spending to much cash

    It was an overnight stay to attend a funeral nearby.

    It was an overnight stay to attend a funeral nearby. The man on reception was so helpful in telling us of a shortcut to the crematorium. His name was Adam. Sam in the dining room gave great and friendly service. Thank you to them both.

    Chorley has a good market and a Booths supermarket.

    Chorley has a good market and a Booths supermarket. There's a memorial to WWI pals' battalion. The last time I went there are a Morris dancing festival, and the local record shop was celebrating Record Store Day. It's a gem of a town. although I thought that the meat and potato pie I bought in the market wasn't that good.

    Exterior tidy good car park ample parking spaces. Reception clean, drinks machine coffee etc payment by card, complimentary water, leaflets for local area etc. Room clean adequate storage and hanging space. Bathroom clean, bath with shower over, towels. Comfortable bed, t.v. complementary tea, coffee, milk, chocolate and single biscuit per guest. Overall a nice hotel for overnight stay or work would recommend. We did not have breakfast so cannot comment on the good.

    Everything! The Hinds Head is a real gem. The room looked and felt more like a home than a hotel. The young staff were brilliant; friendly and professional. The food was outstanding. The sea bass dish was one of the best I have had. The pub area is cozy with a real rustic charm. I thoroughly recommend the small détour off the M6 to visit or stay here.
