We chose staying in St Clears as a base to visit the local coast such as Wisemans Bridge, Amroth, Tenby and others. We know the area well & could also suggest Tenby which is more busy. There are also boat trips the the island if Caldy, nice with older children. Enjoy West Wales, we always find the people are so warm & welcoming. Our stay at Manordaf B&B was very comfortable. Our hosts were so helpful and made us feel at home without being intrusive. The location is brilliant, breakfasts lovely and views breathtaking! They were friendly and more than happy to give ideas on what to do for the day. Breakfast was lovely - whilst you could get a full breakfast, they also offered other great options (e.g eggs benedict) and everything tasted great and well presented. Whilst it was busy and it wasn't too noisy. The locals were also welcoming and friendly - it was lovely to see them support their local village hotel. We had a wedding about 10 minutes away and needed to check in earlier to drop our bags off and quickly change etc.. The Host was more than helpful to allow us to check in earlier and had the apartment ready for 12. Whole apartment was immaculate. Would stay there again if we were to visit the area again.
