Hands down one of the best most friendly places I've stayed at. On arrival the staff were very helpful showing us to our room. The room was immaculate and very beautiful with a four poster bed, free standing bath and a sitting room with balcony. The Inn itself ws surprisingly busy considering it is in the middle of know where but we couldn't fault the atmosphere. The food was proper hearty grub and the staff were excellent. Breakfast in the morning was pretty amazing too and the chef was very chatty and friendly. I honestly can't say a bad word about the place. We ate well, slept like logs and were made to feel very comfortable. We will definitely stay again in future

Don't hesitate to book Ring O'Bells for a second. This was more than an overnight. It was an entirely wonderful experience. The feeling of warmth, welcome and home was evident immediately on arrival. The newly refurbished room had the style and ambience of a boutique hotel. The food, dinner and breakfast - stunning and plentiful. Value for money was off the charts. There's no exaggerating how exceptional this place is. We loved it. Thank you so much :)

Beautiful little gem with lovely staff and amazing food. Our room was really nice with lots of little touches, it was clean and had everything we needed and our little dog loved her stay too. This is a place for people who look for real English experience, who do not like crowds, but enjoy authentic interiors, very nice and welcoming hosts and meeting new dogs ;) (place is dog-friendly). In the evening, we have stayed in the climatic pub (in the same bulding) and we had delicious ale. I had sore throat so I received specially prepared drink based on whisky and hot water (delicious as well). In the morning, you can try typical English breakfast (also in the vegetarian version) and the landlady can tell you her family story going back to mid XIX century, which is also story of the very building you stay in. We did not have a chance to explore the town, however we went for a walk and it was very pleasant. Further, we have travelled by car and the B&B has a big parking place, where we could easily park it. We really, really recommend staying at this place! I am sure, that we will come back should we have a chance.

We had an amazing stay at the cottage! The staff (a lovely family, we believe) were so welcoming and made us feel at home. All the facilities we needed were available — the hot tub was especially relaxing, and although we didn’t use the sauna, it was great to have the option. Everything was very well maintained. A special highlight was feeding the goats, which made the stay even more memorable. The location was also perfect for exploring, we managed to visit Bath, Cardiff, and the Cotswolds, which was ideal as we had a guest visiting from New Zealand. We had such a lovely time and would highly recommend this place!

    Found it to be friendly. If you would like a countryside experience then this is a wonderful place to be the views are fantastic. Ideally situated for explloring Wells, Bath and Bristol also Cheddar Gorge.

    Could not fault the place.

    Could not fault the place. Lovely open fires, the menu had a lot of choices including vegetarian. Nothing was too much trouble and they even sorted some soya milk for my sister as she cannot have normal milk.off the beaten track but lovely n quiet with a walking trail. An overall lovely stay

    Everything could not of been better, from the staff to food ,the room & of course the drink . Staff always willing to help. The food was fantastic ( you just have to try one of the oggies ), we used to stay over at the hotel 20 yrs ago & alway remembered it as a nice place so thought we would get away for the day & try it again, although it was a long time ago nothing has changed it is as good now as we remembered it back then. A really lovely place with everything to match from the people to the food.

    We booked the hotel for a visit to nearby Bath, as we couldn't get anything in town with guaranteed parking facilities. Overall it was a pleasant stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and they went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The breakfast was excellent - much better even than in some more expensive places. And the cosy, pub-like hotel restaurant offered good food.

    Lisa, the host is fantastic, very warm and welcoming and lovely to chat to. my stay was great, the room is very comfortable and has the same little extra you’d find in a hotel. the house is located in the lovely countryside and easy to find with plenty of parking.

    Lisa was absolutely fab! I was really nervous about staying in someone's house as normally I book into a hotel and she was so warm welcoming. I slept like a log. Will definitely be staying again and bringing family.

    This is a country pub and I guess met my needs. I think I was expecting more of a hotel cum pub - so really not the proprietor's fault if I was not too enthusiastic. .
