We only stayed one night at the Colintraive Hotel on our way...
We only stayed one night at the Colintraive Hotel on our way to Bute but it was a very enjoyable experience. Excellent food and drink with very helpful staff. Hopefully manage to stay 2 night the next time to do a bit of exploring Cowal Peninsular. There is a card in the bedroom that you fill out with you breakfast requirement. Only mark what you do require or you could end up with one very large breakfast. It caused great hilarity at the breakfast table with the other guests as there was a few that had filled it out wrong. I was travelling alone, for work, and received the warmest welcome on my arrival on a gloomy Tuesday evening. I was upgraded to an enormous, corner room with amazing views. Real coffee and cafetiere in room plus homemade shortbread biscuits!! Outstanding dinner and breakfast. Very lovely hosts and staff.
