The Bridgend Hotel is an ideal cozy getaway destination on Islay. All the creature comforts of home, including a terrific breakfast, but also plenty of local charm. The staff, in particular, made us feel welcome and were very helpful. In particular, Ken deserves a shout-out!

The hosts were very friendly and lovely. The facility is well designed, modern and clean. The food was excellent. Good location for trips to the islands of Arran, Islay and Jura. One of the best B&Bs we have ever stayed in.

Sarah made us very welcome at extremely short notice when we were marooned on Gigha due to a ferry breakdown. House is beautifully presented and decorated. High quality furniture. Four poster beds in all three bedrooms. Brand new kitchen and bathrooms.

Couldn’t have been any better. Very comfortable cottage with everything you need. Fabulous log fire with plenty of wood in the shed. Easy few minute walk to one of many beautiful beaches. Cycling is the best way to see the island.

Maybe the best accommodation on Jura. We had a great time in The Rusty Hut, and Pi is a very helpful and caring host.
