Where do I start! Our stay was exceptional! 1 night wasn’t enough. We got upgraded to a better room as it was my fiancés birthday! The staff are amazing, super kind, friendly and accommodating! The afternoon tea was great and the restaurant was great! Each room at the Old Bell is so cozy, with the fireplace going in different rooms, and the antiques around the hotel give it such an artistic touch! The interiors are unbelievable! We will be back for sure!! Malmesbury is one of the prettiest towns in the UK with so much history. The hotel’s locations as an old part of the Abbey gives it such an authentic feeling. We truly regret not staying one more night!

Everything. Kes and her staff went out of their way to make our stay a memorable one. The units were spacious and comfortable. The atmosphere was warm and happy. We stayed at 7 venues during the month we spent in the UK. The Horse and Groom was by far the best. Indeed, we were so comfy that we just stayed on in the Cotswolds for the remainder of our vacation instead of travelling on to Ireland and Wales as planned. We will be back. .

Our 5-day stay at Whatley Manor was beyond exceptional. I am hard put to find words to convey how blissful we felt. The enchanting grounds/park/gardens, the hard-to-believe set of buildings that constitute the hotel, the amazingly comfy lounges, bars, restaurants, rooms, not to mention the spa and swimming-pool, and - cherry on a gorgeous pie - the staff. In such a top-notch hotel environment, they all accomplish the amazing feat of being perfect, without… doing too much, if I can put it that way. And the smiles! They put one on your face, too, all day long. Shall I mention the stunning Cotswolds region? The jaw-dropping honey-coloured 17th-century villages. Well, if heaven had a specific address, that could be it.

A gorgeous place to stay. Lovely large bedroom, very comfortable. Molton Brown toiletries a real bonus. Breakfast was splendid, as was dinner on the one night in which I dined in. Beautiful grounds and location. But what made it for me was the staff: courteous and friendly, impeccable service and some of the best hotel staff I have encountered.

Location was excellent. Few minutes walk to Tetbury town centre. Breakfast was tasty and set us up for the day. Rooms were lovely and the house was fab. Couldn’t fault it as catered for all our needs. The dogs loved it too. Children enjoyed it even more especially hide and seek in the house. Highly recommend.

One of my favourite stays! The flat itself is so beautiful, very clean and peaceful. I wish we had more time to just relax and read, but we had commitments. The windows are gorgeous and great for sunny days. Lucienne was very helpful and responsive too! Thank you!

Large bedrooms and comfortable large beds, bath in the rooms, at Pettifers. Food in their restaurant was great. Several areas to sit. Games to play were supplied. However would not recommend for a large group of people as staffing levels in restaurant not high enough. Good sized car park. Village picturesque and near to Cotswolds famous places.

Quiet rural village close to interesting historic places like Shorncote old medieval church, Cirencester Roman site & museum, Lacock Abbey (a 40 min drive) and lovely little pubs. You'd need a car or careful checking of public transport routes, lovely area for cycling around the lakes & lots of little cafes there (daytime & weekends). DIned at the cosy & quaint 'Potting Shed' pub a few steps along the road, it was a good selection of local real ales & just what was needed.

There was at least 2 pubs in walking distance to eat and the potting shed served excellent food. Plenty of field walks to explore. Supermarket was just 10 mins drive with other ones only a little further. Was a perfect base for discovering the Cotswolds.

Crudwell is a pretty village in the cotswolds, it is quite small with not a lot there other than a few pubs/hotels and a post office. Not far up the road is Malmesbury, a bigger town and there are some supermarkets only a few minutes up the road. It's well placed as a base to explore the Cotswolds

The hotel was very close to the venue we were at for a dog show. The car park was at the back of the property so our vehicle & dogs were safe. The hotel is dog friendly & welcomes well behaved dogs with open arms. The food was excellent. The staff are very friendly, helpful & welcoming. There is a public footpath opposite the hotel. Ideal for walking the dogs. We met villagers & they were friendly & interested in our dogs. All in all an excellent weekend away. Thank you.

Our room was a good size and the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was also a good size and the shower had good pressure and the water was always hot. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices. Our dog was very welcome anywhere in the hotel, including the restaurant and they even provided a sausage for her for breakfast!
