Had a wonderful stay at Cruachan Guest House. Kenneth was extremely attentive and a wonderful host. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was a full Scottish experience and very delicious. Filled us up for most of the day! Could not recommend it enough.

Such a well designed little hut that was packed with necessities! We had a really comfortable stay! Location was also convenient if driving, short drive to the beach and restaurants. 100% recommend! Greatly appreciated the homemade sourdough and canned drinks too!

Did not expect the standard of facilities we found here. It was exceptional. Underfloor heating, so cozy - it was blowing a gale and 100 % rain but we were totally Snug. Full hob and oven, great kitchen facilities. Lovely bathroom, comfy bed. And some lovely extras for us as we are on honeymoon.

Perfect location: 2 great beaches, hills to walk. Hostel: nice common area, well set up sleeping space: separated cabins for 2 people- so you can stay as a couple or as us: mother and son in a separate cabin area. Beds are comfy and duvet was heavy and comfy as well. You can meet sunset outside on the bench overlooking the sea.

It was very calm and relaxing, rooms were very spacious, and light, bonus of a hairdryer which was super powerful! . Breakfast was light (toast, yoghurts, fruit and juices and stocked daily. Microwave was great for small snacks and quick evening meals. Guest lounge and balcony was very airy and comfortable, plenty of space to share with the other guests. Lots of very useful and up to date information sheets and guides for the local area.
