Having a couple of quiet days away we decided to visit the country park - what a little gem! \Lovely scenery with several well signed walks with descriptive panels all around. The walkways to the waters edge were a nice touch. Didn't have children with us but the play areas were full of interest and little touches made them a cut above the average. Will definitely visit again - with or without children. The only downside - the refreshments were rather expensive so would bring a picnic and own drinks !!Guest review byColinUnited Kingdom - 8.0

I was there for work.
I was there for work. If you like mixing in with village locals, then there are good places to stay in Daventry, but there really isn't much to see or do in Daventry. I would recommend the Wheatsheaf in Weedon for what i would call a proper old fashioned pub - welcoming staff, friendly locals and good cold beer and decent home cooked food.Guest review bygreg
