Very good location, we needed to be at the Wildlife Park. Very comfortable, we didn't dine or have breakfast but everything was available. Appreciated the use of a kitchenette. Also good hot drink facilities and a small fridge was a bonus.

We arrived on a dark wet night after a long drive and the hotel looked beautiful as we drove up. It did not disappoint inside. It was immaculately clean and welcoming. Receptionist was truly delightful with my little girl who felt like a princess in such surroundings. Everyone was so welcoming and we enjoyed a lovely evening by the Christmas tree. It was a lovely surprise and we will return.

    Easy to find clean and friendly. Super dog friendly but could have done with a bit of a dog run or enclosed garden. Great parking and basic menu. Not really a holiday destination but a fab overnighter.

    Some locals were really friendly, some were the reverse...

    Some locals were really friendly, some were the reverse conversely...it is an old town befitting for what it is and the heritage, so I cannot expect it to be London lest it changes it's name and defeats the purpose....Too many seemingly run-down looking shops in the center and they seemed shut for the most part.....otherwise I really have no complaints for everywhere cannot be the same.

    Hotel is perfectly located either for Doncaster Racecourse or ( in our case ) the Yorkshire Wildlife park . Town centre is walkable so plenty of choice for food ( eg Cactus Jacks' ) .Very close to A1 so easy to get to .

    We grew up around the area revisited old stomping grounds...

    We grew up around the area revisited old stomping grounds some things have changed but the super friendly yorkshire folk are still about .we loved the local Indian restaurant had a wonderful curry meal , cream tea at moore farm shop, used the bus to get into town ,went clay pigeon shooting London, alton towers whitby and york ,all easily drivable from doncaster ( caught the train into London) a great stay with all the family .

    Doncaster has a good shopping centre and is surprisingly...

    Doncaster has a good shopping centre and is surprisingly busy. It is handy to motorways that can take you further afield The Minster is well worth a visit with enthusiastic and knowledgeable guides. We did not spend much time in the city as were exploring South Yorkshire and Lincolnshire. York is fabulous and only an hour away

    the hotel was in a pleasant area, although 1.5 mile outside the centre of town. There are one or two attractions, but the main reason people would visit Doncaster as opposed to the surrounding area is the racecourse.

I didn't eat there, so can't comment, but the restaurant looked cosy and pleasant. Hope to stay again when I next visit Doncaster for work.

    Fabulous hotel. Lovely atmosphere,very smart public areas. Staff very welcoming and professional. Room was outstanding. Large bathroom. Lovely robes and towels. Tea and coffee tray had everything you could need. Nice restaurant with good food and plenty of choice.

    Beautiful hotel on the outskirts of Doncaster. We were greeted with complimentary mince pies and mulled wine which was a lovely touch. The room was spacious and immaculately presented and the bathroom and toiletries were luxurious. A very positive experience.
