Great little place to explore Buxton and the surrounding...

Great little place to explore Buxton and the surrounding areas. Walk to Buxton, (plenty of places to eat and drink including good old weatherspoons!)buses and taxis available to get bck. Walked old rail lines Heyfield to Newmills & millennium bridge, added a loop on taking up to Mellor Cross.( Too warm to walk back. tested local public house, refreshed & caught bus back.) Mam Tor, and there's loads we didn't do. Hosts great. Accomodation very clean. Bed very comfy,TV,table to eat breakfast. Was a very warm weekend when we were they , and the room was very warm when we arrived, but did have tower fan in room and once velux windows opened it cooled down to a nice temp.Bathroom nice, towels, shampoo and body wash all provided. FAB little Kitchen-it is "compact" but more than adequate for making breakfast, lunches and keeping drinks cold 🍸 Very well equipped.( Fridge/freezer, coffee maker and pods, kettle,T coffee, sugar, milk cartons, airfryer, microwave, dish soap, towels all youd expect and more).Don't expect "full size" cooking an prep area. It's caravan/camping size, but we're used to that and couldn't have asked for more. Walks from Dove Holes and around the area and short drives gives even more choice. Lovely place to stay.We will be back to explore more.Thank you.

The property is well maintained, clean and quiet.

The property is well maintained, clean and quiet. We had everything we need: toiletries, enough towels, the kitchen was ready be used. Don't get me wrong, this is the level you would expect form a property but unfortunately to many other accommodations are failing to provide the normality and this is how Mark comes on top. He respects his customers and this is the reason I am supporting him with a nice and TRUE review. I will recommend to my friends who are visiting the area, Buxton, Stockport...even Manchester (30minutes away-and you have free parking in a safe area) What can I say in the negative side: NOTHING!!!
