I can see why they get high ratings. Their home has been made into a little cozy, posh mini-hotel. Julita and her husband were so very welcoming and helpful. There are many, many great places to eat within walking distance. There's a Morrison's next door too.

I stayed at the Vernon the night before my wedding and they were most helpful. All the bridesmaids and myself were able to use the whole of the pub to get our makeup and hair done which was amazing and Lizzy who was amazing making sure myself and all the bridesmaids had drinks and enough to eat ,She Couldn't have done any more to help us She was amazing She even picked us up from our venue as we forgot our key and took us back to the Vernon it was about 2:30 in the morning. Darren was great. He cooked breakfast for us all and even people who weren't staying there. I would recommend this place so much. It really made my day very special. The rooms were clean, comfortable and perfect for a wedding as we had the whole of the top floor to get ready. But in the end we used the pub which was so kind of them to let us. It seemed not to be a problem at all

I cancelled this booking as when I arrived at the property it was nothing like the description the area was very run down and the property looked equally as bad . When I made the booking the owner contacted me by phone stating that another person (male0 had also tried to make the booking, ,and asked if i would be happy to share the bungalow with this male as there was another bedroom > I am single woman Traveller and did not know this man , why would I do that ? Also my booking had already been confirmed so how did he manage to reserve this also ? Very dodgy practice and would recommend this property be removed from the site .

    Droitwich is a small town so does not have a lot to offer.

    Droitwich is a small town so does not have a lot to offer. Every evening I used to walk in Vines Park alongside the canal, a most enjoyable walk. There are plenty of parking facilities in Droitwich although I did not use them since the hotel was very near the centre.

    We loved the hotel so much that we didn't want to go...

    We loved the hotel so much that we didn't want to go anywhere else, after a long day of walking at Crufts, NEC. The staff were so so accommodating and took an interest into how we'd spent our day at the NEC, We never went into Droitwich itself. Another thing we loved about the hotel was the rural aspect,overlooking fields, as one sat outside having a drink.

    Staff were excellent - friendly, polite and attentive. Room was clean and comfortable. The main light and desk light were not working and the staff did all that they reasonably could to rectify the problem when we reported it.

    Helpful walking map from the information Centre provided a focus on the must see sights. Canal walk and visits to the Sacred Heart Church made a pleasant and informative short break. The Thai restaurant and the local pubs provided good hospitality.

    Lovely town with a high street of little shops and friendly...

    Lovely town with a high street of little shops and friendly locals - a variety of pubs - restaurants and cafes and very easy to walk around - beautiful sacred heart church with Mosaic walls , the lido and the famous salt brine history - the golf club is a treat - The Cock Inn does the best carvery in town and dog friendly , just 30 mins from Birmingham Airport - amid beautiful countryside .

    On our journey to Cornwall from East Yorkshire it was the perfect spot for a half way stop the facilities on the site were excellent and the choice of dining is good there’s a harvesters and an Indian restaurant on the same site as well as McDonald’s. We have used this hotel before as it’s dog friendly arrangements are great

    Hotel and area it is located was brilliant all the staff seemed as though they enjoyed their working at the hotel and very friendly and helpful. We could not fault them one tiny bit big thumbs up. Only stayed the one night but we could not fault the food at all menu was not fancy but the food was worth the pennies and the breakfast was cracking : )

    A nice cozy pub/restaurant/hotel with rooms laid out like a Premier Inn. I stayed for 6 weeks on business and the staff were always warm and welcoming. They made it feel like a home from home for me and nothing was too much trouble. I highly recommend this hotel in a lovely part of the country. Good luck to you all at the Crown and thank you!

    Sparkling clean, big room with good facilities. Very friendly and helpful Hosts. Everything was great - couldn't fault anything. I was delighted with the accommodation as it was perfectly located for visiting my husband who was in Droitwich Spa Hospital.
