Teresa was so accommodating and helpful with anything we needed. The bathroom was absolutely stellar as well, with a lovely wide bathtub which is unusual for the UK. Breakfast included homemade jams and spreads which was above and beyond tasty. And like any good small town, Teresa knew all the locals which ended up being super convenient.

Dufftown is more than just a whisky destination; it's a place where history, nature, and community intertwine beautifully. There is only 1 Bar in Dufftown and it’s basic but has a dart board but that’s your lot.now as others lost business to Covid. There’s an Indian which is average and take away which is basic. Advise to book places to eat in Aberlour to avoid disappointment. Whisky tours only accept online bookings.

    The people were friendly.

The people were friendly. Unfortunately the tourist information office had been shut down. There were plenty of distilleries nearby if you had a car. There were good walking tracts if you had a medium level of fitness. There is only one pub as far as I know but I would recommend the restaurant as the food which was excellent.

From the moment we arrived for our three-night stay, we felt welcomed by Kira, Tom and Tizzie. Our clean and spacious room was comfortable; in particular, the bed provided a good sleep. There was a great selection for breakfast and we enjoyed trying different offerings each day. No ask seemed to bother Kira whose hospitality background was obvious in her attention to detail and pleasant service. If our next Scotland adventure takes us though Dufftown, we'll be certain to include Abbeyfield on our preferred booking spots.

Everything was amazing. The atmosphere was fantastic. Tereza is a nice and helpful host. The breakfast was very good, prepared by Tereza according to our wishes. On arrival we also served with local whisky and marmelade then made by Tereza. The B&B is very well located for visiting Spey area, and the distilleries. Dufftown is a very nice small town, with a very good restaurant (Whisky Capital Inn). If you have a car you can park on the street, near the B&B.
