A good value stay at Little Loch Broom.
A good value stay at Little Loch Broom. Hotel directly opposite loch with stunning views and access for swimming. Excellent base for exploring North West. Room was large and clean with a bath in the bathroom. This is not a modern hotel (don't expect a TV or good WiFi) but it was perfect for our needs and in a quiet setting. Clean and comfortable rooms. Excellent breakfast with superb locally sourced ingredients. A simple hotel, but the bar meals are quite limited and primitive and 100% dependent on the deep freeze, No fresh local ingredients (though there's a sea farm just down the road, for example). This 5 star property lived up to expectations! Superb modern house with latest facilities. We had a wonderful stay at the Birches Lodge. We were greeted on arrival and given some wonderful suggestions on attractions to visit.The lodge was warm, clean and cosy and we were even treated to a complimentary welcome basket. The Bay Hut was beautiful and in an idyllic setting.
The Bay Hut was beautiful and in an idyllic setting. It was very well appointed and the fire pit in the evening was a great midgie repellent! It was a great base for exploring the area.
