    We have known the town of East Grindstead of many years...

    We have known the town of East Grindstead of many years having grown up in a village very close by and attending school there. In our opinion, it is not as nice as it was, we moved away some 10 years ago to escape the never ending urban sprawl, high street decline, and neon monstrosities built after demolishing irreplaceable period buildings. That said, there isn't really a lot to do, and is best summed up as a stop over for Gatwick Airport, a shame really as we have many fond memories.

    Such a beautiful and relaxing hotel with amazingly friendly stuff who's always there happy to help beautiful bar area food was amazing it was honestly one of my favourite get aways we wished that we booked extra nights it was so relaxing just what we needed

    Poor value. Like a Premier Inn but 4 times the cost. Bathroom too small, facilities overall very tired. Bar very transient - poor lighting, no ambience Spa/pool area - very cold, poor lighting, very busy, looed very tired

    Great place to explore the countryside and visit local attractions (Hever Castle, Churchill house, Tunbridge Wells). The area has some lovely places to eat and drink, especially The Wiremill Lakeside Pub & Inn.

    Pleasant stay, staff were lovely and the breakfast selection was excellent and really good value. The facilities were clean and well prepared, the bar was comfortable and a good selection of drinks. Overall we had a lovely stay for our event at Lingfield Racecourse.

    The location of "Gothic House" Guesthouse in East Grinstead was really nice. We arrived in de afternoon and there was parking space besides the main road. There are little shops, restaurants/pubs around the corner and CJ's Café Bar in "Gothic House" itself. Everything very dog friendly! The Room was as seen on the pictures and very cosy.

    The bed was very comfortable and although it was a front room, there was no traffic noise as it was not on a main major route so very quiet. Only 5 - 10 min walking distance from East Grinstead town and ideal for being local to the Church of Scientology if you need to attend services there.
