The landlord was very helpfull with good advice for restauant, how to travel to Edinburgh, and was an amazing breakfast-Chef, respecting my no lactose/no carb diet. 😊🌻 Fine family, good dogs, good room and bathroom, car parking in the street, very quiet situation, 3 busses and train to Edinburgh... great!!

The location was absolutely perfect — right in the heart of Edinburgh’s Old Town. Almost everything I wanted to explore was within a 15–20 minute walk, which made my stay super convenient. The surrounding vibe was lively yet charming, with historic streets and attractions all around. I really appreciated how easy it was to get around without needing transport.

Wonderful friendly staff, all very helpful. My room and ensuite were very clean. Bed and bedding superb. The location was a lot further from both the city and the airport and trains than i had anticipated. This made for expensive taxis. There was however, very easy access to buses right outside and both sides of the road. Aside from having a very busy bar and restaurant in-house, the area has ample eateries both dine in and takeout, also convenience store and supermarkets all within close walking distance.. I was very happy with my stay thank you.
