The room was quiet, but the view from both windows showed a lot of rubish. So, don't look to the outside. Television was working, but we did not find the password for the WiFi connection. The first night we bought fish and chips opposite the road and ate it in a pub, with a nice beer. Egremont is quite a sleepy town, but very pleasant and with the amenities that most holiday makers need. Great Coop, larger than average and good quality produce with lots of choice.
