    I had a wonderful experience at Stansted Lodge Elsenham.

    I had a wonderful experience at Stansted Lodge Elsenham. Communication with the owner was swift and very helpful. I arrived late at night, and due to a road closure, I struggled to find my way. The owner quickly sent directions, making the process much smoother. The room was spotless, warm, and quiet, perfect after a long journey. Free parking was provided in a spacious, well-lit area secured by CCTV, adding extra convenience. The next morning, the owner went the extra mile to help with transport, which I truly appreciated. The location is peaceful yet close to the airport. I will definitely be staying again and highly recommend it for a stress-free, comfortable stay with excellent service!

    Food was not bad but don't think they cooked it. Think it could have been a takeout bought in. The hotel is having a make over so should not be used. Also I think other people were living there......

    Bed was very comfortable and facilities in the room were good. Atmosphere in the public area (dining and bar) was a little lacking. Seating for a group of four having drinks just didn't exist - we ended up sitting on two settees that were alongside each other, ie four people sitting in a long line rather than facing each other. A few moveable chairs that could be used to create more of a 'group' setting would be a great improvement.

    Quiet, small, comfortable self contained village. it has a Tesco Express open till 23:00 a Fish and Chip Shop and a pub called the Crown with a large garden where you can also get food. We bought our evening meal at the Fish and Chip shop (good average quality) and got what we needed for a very nice Breakfast at our shared kitchen, self-catering accommodation at the Tesco Express. The village is well kept and tidy and has some interesting little onuments.

    This was disappointing .

    This was disappointing . Tired, damaged rooms and a break fast with no choice and not even asked what we wanted. Nothing different for 10 and 8 year old children either. Damage to walls and taps which fired water everywhere. I wouldn't recommend.

    The hotel was very good quality for the price-very clean throughout , the shower was amazing-very powerful and relaxing. The room size was good, and the check in process very smooth-love the decor of the rooms and the key hooks. The room has a kettle and some biscuits and a small tv. The temperature was nice and warm on arrival. Bed was super comfortable. Very good location and surprisingly very quiet. I managed to get a very good nights rest. Also love the phonebox outside ❤️

    Fantastic place, we felt like in a luxury hotel. Clean, modern, comfortable, well looked after. Communication is timely and smooth, check in and check out were smooth . There is a small playground across the road if you have little ones to entertain. TV works - just need to push a button on the TV set itself . The area is quiet but close to Stansted. We would stay again if we needed to spend a night before the flight.
