The yurt was so spacious and comfortable. Had fairy lights and a lantern that gave just enough light at night in the yurt. The shower block/toilets are absolutely pristine, cleaner than some hotels we've stayed in and shower gel is supplied (which really invigorates in the morning) so that's one less thing to pack. Quality loo roll too. A hamper (with plates, bowls, cups, glasses, cutlery and matches), bbq and a bucket of coal/firelighters are supplied (more than one night will require you buy more coal) and the coals are ready very quickly so cooking is a breeze. There is a well stocked kitchen in the barn with access to a hot plate, microwave and extra cutlery/bbq utensils, hot water urn, tea and coffee and space in the fridge to store food/drinks etc (just look for your bell tent or yurt name on the front of the fridge) The sinks outside the barn to wash up your hamper items is well stocked and you also get a jar of marshmallows and sticks to toast at the fire pit. The tents are situated far enough away from each other that you can barely hear the other occupants and despite being close to roads its wonderfully quiet with just the occasional car whoosing by. We've seen plenty of hedgehogs, rabbits and dormice during our stays and the night time animal sounds are amazing. We took a telescope with us and were able to catch a glimpse of Saturn due to there being no light pollution so the night sky was beautiful. We cannot wait to go back to Home Farm next year. This hotel has 8+ stars for a reason Receptions were very supportive I checked in early and was ready to pay 10£ for an hour but they refused to charge any extra money They gave us complimentary water and break fast I will come again soon

    Gentleman on reception tried to charge me £12.50 for breakfast. I told him it was £10 pre booked. He said this was an old offer but would go us a favor and charge £20 this time. All your advertising, on line and in room state it’s £10 We arrived about 10pm last Friday

    Good location and out of the hustle of London, not overly...

    Good location and out of the hustle of London, not overly busy considering the Gym and pool facilities, overall a very nice clean hotel with excellent staff. Would we stay there again yes and are already planning another visit.

    Breakfast great, staff lovely, room great, grounds lovely, gym ok. Internet good once it was working. Main house has lots of places to sit and relax. Dinner good quality but very expensive. Over £70 for main and dessert plus a soft drink for two of us. Not a wide range of choices either. Don't do sandwiches as a lunchtime or daytime option. Good location.

    Warm welcome, room upgraded to provide a terrace and garden view. Very helpful staff. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice on the buffet. The cooked food was excellent but it would have been helpful to have had a menu showing what was available. We will stay again if we visit the area in the future.

    Liked - The drive up to the house was lovely and the house looked spectacular from the outside. I asked to be moved to another room and was given another room of better size with views over the grounds, the giant chess board and the shisha bar. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room had a small fridge. Disliked · Our double room looked nothing like the rooms advertised on the website and definately not 4*. When I booked a 'double room' via a popular booking site, I was presented with images of gorgeous rooms in pastel shades. Definately not what we got on arrival! Our room was in the the newer wing, and accessed via a vast amount of stairs and corridors which is not ideal if you have mobility issues. We were very disappointed to see the room. It was dated, dark and small with a loud humming noise coming from within the wall. Our hearts sank - the special treat for my daughter had suddenly flopped. I went back to reception and asked to change rooms. In the new room the toilet seat was broken and the toilet pan stained. The connecting door to the occupants in the room next door was unlocked and I had to go back to reception to ask for it to be locked. There was a leak in the ceiling in the corridor outside our room and water was dripping into a bucket for the entire duration of our stay. The bar was shut during our stay due to the hotel being under new management. No mention on the website of the popular Shisha bar set within the hotel grounds which was packed each night, with lots of parked cars and closes at 1am.

    Hotel needs updating.

    Hotel needs updating. Rooms look a little jaded, the Japanese toilet with all its functions didn't work and the water pressure in the shower was poor. The few staff that we saw were helpful but there wasn't enough of them. I had to wait 15 mins just to get my key reset at reception as we couldn't find anyone to help. Food at the evening meal was lovely as we're the helpful staff. Generally a little disappointed with the overall experience.

    hotel character was excellent. The old parts of the hotel were fabulous , the newer parts were also showing their age. The standard double room was fine. Staff were very good, food was good especially the breakfast. Atmosphere was good.
