A great location for exploring the New Forest, sitting just at the very edge of the national park, provides easy access within a short driving distance. The Hosts Shelly and Colin gave us a warm welcome upon arrival, making sure we had everything we needed and were very accommodating and all round lovely people, nothing being too much trouble. The room was extremely clean and comfortable with a relaxed and warm atmosphere. Fantastic value for money and we hope to come back again one day.

It was exactly what I needed after a heavy day: warm room, hot shower, comfy bed, and a glass of tasty beer in the bar. I liked the thick carpet making the room and stairs quieter. Great having tea and coffee in the room, too.

This stay was a trip down Memory Lane as we were members of the RSYC as children in the 70s - 80s. The club had undergone a massive change internally but the facade and prominent position in the Village brought tears to the eyes! We had a clean, cosy room and loved the nautical decor. We had dinner and breakfast at the club and it was delicious with friendly staff who showed genuine interest in our reminiscence. Highly recommended

I mentioned that it was my husband's birthday and we got some special additions. The staff were amazing, especially Martha who at breakfast went out of her way to make sure each table was made to feel welcome. Thank you all for such an amazing time!

Beautiful hotel in a great location with fantastic restaurant and breakfast buffet. We really enjoyed our stay and the stunning setting within the New Forest NP and the hotel right next to the river makes it a perfect place. Really calm and perfect to relax in style. Also, very lovely and stylish rooms, generously equipped.

    Stayed for a couple of nights pre-cruise. The location was close enough for Southampton Cruise Terminal (about 30 Minutes away) but also allowed us to visit the New Forest, Christchurch & Bournemouth easily.
